A Mac book costs a bit more than a PC, but the cost of extending the warranty period of PC may be more than the difference in the prices of the two types of computers. With having said that Apple also has a great reputation when it comes to maintenance, service and customer satisfaction. Ultimately the difference in cost becomes very small.
