So many people are being ripped off by work from home scams every day. More and more are starting to distrust the internet. That’s the result of shady and misleading advertising. FTC is fighting with it and hopefully the area will clear up soon. But you want to start making money as fast as possible and you need info now.
Ok, fair enough. Let’s see how you can find a legitimate work at home business opportunity. I always make sure that the website has some kind of contact information. And not just that, I email them or call them up. I want to talk to someone, support staff or whatever to see if they can help me out. Usually, if it’s a scam, they won’t even respond. In such case, find another bizopp to invest into.
BBB Rating
Scam artists don’t have high BBB rating. If you want to check up the company, search for them on the BBB site. Look at what people are saying. Is it scam or legitimate product?
3rd Party Reviews
Forums or consumer report sites. Again, real human word is the most valuable in this case. Facebook even. Post about it on your board and see what folks are telling you about it. Maybe you’ll meet someone that will completely change your opinion about the product. It’s always best to see what other, real people have to comment.
Just make sure you don’t fall for those review sites you see everywhere. They’re usually resellers of the same product and provide good opinion. If there’s no link to the product on the review site, you can trust it. If they bash the main product, you can trust them. But usually they simply endorse it and make commissions for it. Watch out for those people. So avoid review sites, better use forums, social sites.
Reputable Networks
I like reputable 3rd party networks. One I particularly love is Clickbank. Products sold there can be scammy or legitimate, but you’ll get a refund if there is one on the site. And if the product owner doesn’t want to talk to you about the return, then you simple email clickbank themselves and they’ll gladly refund you.
I’ve had cases where the product was low quality and the owner turned out to be a scammer. I just used Clickbank support, and got my refund in no time. So purchasing from this place is almost always safe and secure.
