Use Facebook For Network Marketing Recruiting
Facebook is a great way to meet other network marketers. This is a great way to learn about marketing from other people. Network marketing recruiting can happen when you use Facebook to generate leads. Unfortunately, many folks flat out spam others, which is a total turn off for people.
A method to finding friends on Facebook is to utilize groups. You want to find some that pertain to network marketing. Join a couple groups; then, request friendships from others in that group. Because others see you in a group, they will also ask to be friends with you.
When requesting friendship, you want to add a personal message. Mention where you saw them and why you want to connect with them. You don’t want to request friendship without adding a personal message because this comes off as spamming. When you add a personal message, you are trying to build trust, which will help with bringing in sales.
You definitely don’t want to spam your business opportunity when requesting friendship.
People don’t like this at all. This style of recruiting just doesn’t work. It is almost like meeting someone for the first time. You wouldn’t ask the person to marry you from day one, right? Just like marriage, you want to build that trust before you ask anyone to join your business.
So, now that we have friends on Facebook, we want to interact with them. On the home page we see people comments and we just want to start interacting with them. Make comments when needed. “Like” something. I know that when someone comments or likes what I have to say, I usually look at their profile. When people like your comments and they are not friends with you, they are more likely to ask you to be their friend.
The whole point of Facebook is to add value, educate, and build a reputation of trust and helpfulness if you give the opposite, people will ignore you and certainly not buy anything that you have to offer. If someone were really interested in succeeding in MLM, whom would they choose as a mentor, one that is helpful, educates, and entertains, or one that just is out their selling their business opportunity? The more you give out to the community, the more you will get back. People will just be attracted to you and not run away, like calling a cold lead.
